Aldana Foundation has officially handed over properties to the Sisters of Mercy Missionaries during a ceremony marked by a strong sense of social commitment and shared joy. This significant act of solidarity reaffirms the Foundation’s dedication to the well-being and service of the community, particularly in caring for the most vulnerable.
At the event, Mayra Roldán Alvarado, Coordinator of the Aldana Foundation Volunteer Program, expressed the organization’s deep satisfaction in partnering with the noble mission of the Sisters of Mercy. “This is a very special moment for us, and although our president, Esperanza del Perpetuo Socorro Botero López, could not be with us physically, we know her spirit is with us in this act of love and generosity,” said Roldán Alvarado.
To help children, young people and grandparents
The donated properties will be dedicated to projects supporting children, young people, and the elderly, providing safe havens of hope and support for those most in need. “These houses are not just structures; they are spaces built with dedication and love, true beacons of service and care for all who cross their doors,” added the Coordinator. With this donation, the activities of the Sisters of Mercy are expected to continue transforming lives through teaching, smiles, and the comfort they provide.
